Haven't tried it yet but my psychiatrist wanted me to try bee venom injections for my arthritis problems. He uses it for that and other added benefits. I now want to try it more than ever after reading about it.

I bought bee propolis capsules hoping to use them in a face cream experiment. I ended up taking them instead. I didn't think anything about it until they ran out and my asthma and allergies can back with a vengeance. Thinking back, the whole time I took propolis- I never had an asthma attack or even a bit of a sneezer even after being drenched by rain and crawling through flood water.
I try not to run out again.

Love the article. We discuss this at the Beekeepers meetings on a regular basics. Only complaint is where the writer refers to the bee making the propolis ball as he/his. The male bee, called drones, only job is to mate with a queen. All the work done in a bee hive is by the workers, all female. Otherwise good information.

I use propolis cream on my face to reduce inflamed acne scars. It's very soothing. I love it!

I used bee propolis drops in an alcohol base 3x a day together with echinacea drops, 2g per day of vitamin C (Ester C), some coconut oil and yoghurt. It cleared a strep infection found in my urine. I did not use the prescribed antibiotics but when tested a few weeks after the infection was found, it was gone. Praise the Lord! I read that bee propolis is specifically effective against streptococcus. I was about 5 months pregnant when I used these remedies. They would not be recommended for early pregnancy because of miscarriage risk.
