Growing Catmint

How to Grow Catmint

Catmint is a resilient, hardy herb that can grow in pretty much any climate. It can easily be grown in most backyard gardens, containers and can also be easily grown indoors in a sunny window. Growing to about four feet in height with lovely white/purple flowers and giving off a pungent minty aroma, catmint is also a beautiful addition to any home garden. Catmint will thrive in sun or shade and can handle most soil conditions, though well drained soil is a must for growing any garden plants.

Catmint is easily propagated from seed. It is important to note that catmint is a rather aggressive plant, meaning that it can easily overtake a yard or flower bed if not kept cut back and well contained.
