as an alternative medicine practitioner and researcher, i used catsclaw on every types of diseases especially  cancer and it never failed me. cancerous tumor softens and begins to shrink in a matter of 3 weeks. this can be seen in x-ray or can be palpable when touch. i combined catsclaw with bee pollen granules consuming 3 tbps mixed with food in a day while i give  3 catsclaw  500 mg caps 3 times a day in empty stomach. of course healing takes place when following the nutritional therapy prescribed.

Anytime you want to know how something can work in your body, TRY IT. Asking will not answer like your own experience will. I have experimented with many supplements (NEVER using more than the recommended daily dose or using supplements that are not compatible with my body) and I have learned a lot and had some great results. No one can know your body better than you. Make certain from your doctor that this supplement will not be bad for you or interact badly with other medicines if you happen to be taking any. Good luck!

Cat's Claw seems to be helping me heal my bladder, recently diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitic, taking down inflammation. I still do many other things to keep my ph alkaline, lots of greens, minerals, but Cat's Claw's alkaloids help with this also.

I had cystitis really bad at one point and I was really in pain. At first I took sulfur pills it was so,so. I hated these pills. One time I was juicing parsley and it happened that I had cystitis, like a miracle it stopped the pain almost immediately. Through my younger years that is all I used. One time traveling through Europe I had cystitis again, I could not juice parsley so I went to a grocery store and bought a bunch of parsley and started chewing it real good and swallowed it. It stopped it almost immediately. Later I contacted some kind of bladder disease and I used juniper berries for it and it relieved the pain. I went to a doctor for it and he did a bladder examination and told me that my bladder was full of little tumors and to take antibiotic for the rest of my life. I did not. I started of a program of a tea made with Pau d'Arco, Cat's claw and Chuchuhuasi and this healed completely my bladder. It has been years ago and never had a problem after that. Today, I still use this tea off and on to keep diabetes ll, arthritis and fibromyalgia (rheumatism) I cannot forget candida and yeast infection that happen from time to time. I call these herbs miracle tea.

I prefer herbal tinctures and have used the cat's claw tincture several times over the years. I have used it as a part of a anti-candida protocol with good overall results. I have also used it for helping to cleanse the intestinal tract. It has been quite effective with problems of constipation as long as adequate water is taken also. Recently, I got a touch of food poisoning and the result was pretty bad stomach cramps for several hours. Within about 30 minutes or so of taking the cat's claw tincture (on an empty stomach so it can go right to work), I had about 70% improvement with full improvement in just a few hours. I keep it in my pantry all the time and would not want to be without it.

For an entire year I could not walk without the aid of a walker my osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis was so bad in my knees and ankles and even my feet I couldn't even put pressure on them and I would drag me legs behind me. I started taking Cat's Claw on aug.15th 2011 the first thing I noticed after 2 weeks was that the swelling in my left leg went down completely and by Sept. 9th I was up and walking without my walker and I haven't touched it since. i couldn't use the stairs before I took cat's claw and now i can run....this is a miracle supplement to me...I will never stop taking cat's claw!

i use to take a remedy of herbs including the following. 20 drops of chaga extract, 4 caps of cats claw, 4 caps of kelp, 4 caps of spirulina, and a tbls of omega 3-6-9 (orange swirl) daily... I stopped taking it because i was having a slight reaction to one of them. Im not sure which one. All that was happening is that i was getting tiny blisters on my fingers and infections in the cuticle of my fingers. I stopped taking everything but the chaga. I now realize that even though the reactions stopped when i stopped taking the product, that the benefits of taking them outweight the cons... I believe that the infections were actually caused by the cleansing. The infections were being pushed into my finger tips, which is the bosy way of cleaning its self. I believe this was actually a positive responce and I will be taking them again starting today. I can deal with my fingers having issues, because while i was taking this stuff i never got sick, i never had an outbreak of mrsa, which happens to me every 2-3 months, i was losing weight, and i had a lot more energy.

I have chronic Lyme disease. Did this really work? How sick we're you? I was house bound and often bedridden sick for 2+ years. I stopped conventional therapies. I'm seeing a healer now and I'm the best I've ever been. I still have bad days but nothing compared to before! I took cats claw for a little while and just started up again a few days ago and have more energy. I'm wondering if it is the cat's claw!

I suffered from Fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities for 25 years. It got so bad I was bed ridden and could not leave the house. I did all I could to make myself heathy. It only worked to a point. Then one day I read about Lyme's and the connection with my symptoms. I was never diagnosed with lymes, but when the article told about Cat's Claw, I figured, 'what have I got to loose'. I took it faithfully, knowing things take time. After 2 months the Fibromyalgia suddenly made a huge improvement. Started walking a mile or more a day. About one year on the herb, I found I could go into public without getting sick from the environment. One thing though. I have to take it daily, since it seems only to control things as long as I take it.

For many years I experienced chronic bronchitis and as a result I found myself on antibiotics quite was a debilitating health issue. After several years of bronchitis attacks I came across an article about Cat's Claw extract and it's ability to stimulate the immune system. I started taking 100 mg 2x/day and unbelievably all occurrences of bronchitis ceased. To this day I'm still on this regime.

We give this to our son for Lyme's and he had 2 co- infections as well. He is only 6 but he takes 5 to 9 drops a day along with many other tinctures. He also takes parsley with it to help detoxify. Without it he had herxe reaction. We use nutrimedix which can be found on amazon or their website. He is also on banderol, lakoto, and houttuynia. Taken with parsley or burbur depending spoon the week. We see a holistic doctor and they have him on a schedule and we have high hopes of getting rid of it not just putting it to sleep. Serra peptase which helps many with Lynne's and pain. We were able to do a hair analysis and find he was sufficient in key minerals and overloaded with metals and parasites which is common with Lyme's. We are all taking herbs in teas but our boys are on a strict schedule since we know their results.Magnesium iis one of the things if he doesn't get it his pain quickly returns. Orother son was diagnosed but it did not invade his body as fast pie to the same degree, he is not on as much of a routine. He was 3 when we found out. It is best to go to a holistic doctor when dealing with Lyme's for me because I was fairly new to the herbal way of thinking but also knowing how dibilitating it can be scared me knowing how young they are. We are also giving our animals cats claw in case they brought it into our home. Its Scarry how many people are finding out the have lyme.

Cats Claw, I was told is used to treat Lymes Disease. It kills the Lymes - whereas antibiotics suppress it in the cells. Then it can reoccur. It made a difference with me.

I discovered Cat's Claw back in 2009.
My ankles were extremely swollen for two years due to an injury/heel
spurs and I was not able to stand/walk without excruciating pain. At
the same time, I was dealing with an auto immune disorder, IBS. All
the prescription drugs were doing nothing for me...just covering
things up and creating numerous other health problems.

I did some research on the internet
about natural herbs, fruits & vegetables that are
anti-inflammatory. I drank a mixture of fresh prickly pear juice
(cactus fruit) and fresh watermelon juice, at least 3 times a day,
during the entire summer season AND took Cat's Claw 500 mg per
capsule by Solaray. By the end of summer, I was walking again!...and
the inflammation due to IBS was gone! It even got rid of some raised
circle marking on the area around my knees (I suspect it might have
been Granuloma annulare after looking at pictures on internet, but
I'm not certain)that appeared after I returned from my ten month stay
in Florida in 2002. The markings never hurt and had same color as my
skin, but it still worried me. I asked my doctors about it, they
didn't have an answer....well those markings are even gone & have
not returned and its now 2015!

Also, if I feel I'm coming down with a
cold or something, I take Cat's Claw...its stops the virus on its
track. I always have a bottle of capsules around just in case I
need it : )

I have heard of the effectiveness of Cat’s Claw in fighting
free radicals, cancer cells, and leukemia cells. My best friend was diagnosed
with leukemia 2 years ago. She refused to be treated with chemical drugs and
has been trying alternative treatment for her disease. Her naturopath doctor
recommended cat’s claw. She’s taking it in capsule form twice a day and she got
them from Raintree Formulas.

I have lyme for over 20 yrs.I had taken cats claw about 8 yrs ago for arthritis in my back and it helped.Took cats claw on & off since then.New info has been coming out on cats claw.I have been taking it for over a month now for lyme.It is helping me more then antibiotics because it helps with inflammation and that is one of the main things lyme does to the body.I am going to keep taking cats claw because some of the cysts(you can feel them inside of you) are gone.I beleive cats claw is not a cure for lyme but it helps controll and eliminates the spiroketes, when you have had lyme for years I believe that since it is all thru your body it will be hard to completely get rib of. But cats claw does help lyme and the problems that come with lyme...which is alot

Hi! this is what I do to keep myself healthy with no problems: In a large crockpot I place about 1/2 of a hand full of cat's claw bark, the same proportion for pau d'arco and add about a teaspoon of chuchuhuasi extract that I get from Sunfood. I feel the pot with water then place it on boil and then reduce to low. That will last me for quite a while. I drink this freely.

I'm asthmatic and during much of the 1990's I experienced chronic bronchitis, which coupled with my asthma proved to be very debilitating. I experienced bronchitis at least three times a year, which needed antibiotic treatment. Towards the end of the decade I came across Cat's Claw extract (standardized). Unbelievable as it sounds the bouts of bronchitis ceased. I continue to this day to take daily Standardized Cat's Claw morning and evening.

Giving this to our dog for an undiagnosed systemic candida infection. His symptoms were frequent sores in the folds of his skin and on his underside and a distinct smell of bread dough all over his body. This went way beyond regular DO. Walking into the room where he hangs out the most, smelled like a bakery in the morning. It was disgusting because it was our poor dog. The itching and scratching was unbearable to watch. He also had a voracious appetite that could never be satiated. We are now just four days in with a dose of one cap/3Xs/day. The smell is gone and his cravings have subsided. His sores are still healing but he rarely scratches now. I am truly impressed with this supp. I've begun taking it myself to help me start eating more paleo, cutting out all sugar and processed foods, including breads. I must say that it seems much easier with the herb than it was without it. Hopefully now I can become healthier and lose a little weight.

Hi Kala, I know that pau d'arco is great for alot of infections. You can combine it with cat claw and see how it works. For me personally i use up to three herbs when treating any disease, so that the process will be quicker and probably more effective. I know you asked this question a longtime, but i hope you will see it, and i hope you will be successful in your efforts.

Cat Claw is also a phyto estradiol, binding to those receptors, useful against hot flashes and preserving our women's bones, could be combined with integral sesame seeds, high in Calcium, and some sunshine for the vit. D binding.

For Dianes son (astma) and other respiratory disorders, I'd rather recommend Farfara (Tusilago), opens up respiratory tract, and is anti inflammatory. Best taken as hot as possible.
