I love Yarrow. I made hot tea out of it and drank it to help with bronchitis and asthma. It is the only thing my body "craves" when I'm sick with bronchitis. I highly recommend getting it as fresh as you can. Enjoy.

When I was having a uterine hemorrage I used yarrow 3 times a day a tablespoon of flowers each time in a cup of water. I distilled it for about 10 minutes each time. I found that it actually stopped the clots by slowing them down to once every three to four hours as opposed to every hour. Eventually it slowed my period down to a normal period. Apparently if you take yarrow five days before your period every day you can prevent a dysfunctional period. I dont doubt it. P.S It tastes awful if too strong. Might need to put some honey with it. Honestly when I was having clotting and flooding I sucked it back like it was my best friend. I can honestly say this miracle tea kept me out of the hosptial

I have a large herb garden and in addition to using yarrow for medicinal reasons, I like to make iced herbal teas. Yarrow is my favorite spring time herb to add to my mixture. It is very refreshing and invigorating. I start craving it once I see it coming up in early spring.
